Candida self test

Updated: Aug 20, 2022

We cannot always differentiate symptoms. Often yeast over growth will have the same symptoms of mold, lyme and gut issues. Here are a few samples. Go ahead and take the spit test and see if you might have to much yeast in your system.

  1. Sugar and carbohydrate cravings

  2. bloating, constipation, or diarrhea

  3. Skin issues like acne, rashes, eczema or hives

  4. Difficulty concentrating, poor memory

  5. Tired or extreme exhaustion

  6. ADHD

  7. Irritability, mood swings, anxiety, or depression

  8. Vaginal infections , urinary tract infections or rectal itching

  9. Severe seasonal allergies or itchy ears

  10. Skin and nail fungal infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, and toenail fungus or thick yellow nails.

This self-test according to some specialists is as accurate as a blood test at determining if you have to much yeast growing in your system.

Candida DIY self-test

Spit test. First thing in the morning prior to eating, spit in a glass ½ full of water.

Watch what happens for up to 15 minutes.

If it stays on the top you are good. No yeast is present.

If it grows legs you have a problem that needs to be addressed.

If it sinks that is a more severe problem.

If your spit test indicates you have an overgrowth of yeast you will want to change your diet and possibly do an anti yeast protocol. A functional healing health coach can help you navigate this to achieve total wellness.
